I love being independent on holiday: sleeping late inside my own four walls, feeling at ease, getting up early, leaving and coming back when I want to. My daily routine has no timetable. Nevertheless, I can let myself be pampered in Bergheim when I feel like it ...

Enjoy our breakfast buffet in the cosy Stube with many fresh products from the region like the typical Pusterer Breatl (= black bread) with homemade jams and a hearty butter. Cake, muesli, yoghurt and South Tyrolean bacon are of course not to be missed.

When? From 8 to 10 am

  • Price: 14,- € per person and day (from May 2026 15,- €)
  • Children up to 3 years free
  • Children from 4-8 years: 1.- € per year

For organisational reasons, please book the breakfast option right away when making your reservation! Thank you.

For early birds: We are happy to get fresh rolls or sweets from the bakery for you. Please let us know your wishes until 3 pm the day before.

You are welcome to use our grill in the garden. Firewood and charcoal can be provided on request.

Meet the host family & about our history

1972-2020 From Pension* to Residence ***s

The Pension Bergheim is almost 50 years old. In the 1970s Maria and Andreas, my parents, started to renovate the small house for guests. At that time, they were still among only a few in the Braies valley who dared. Tourism has only very slowly found its way into our valley.

In 2020 we took the big step and turned our small rustic rooms upside down. We have invested a lot of time, love and energy, the process involved many discussions and changes. Now we are happy to show you the result.

We, the Putzer family with grandma Maria, myself, Renate, and my husband, Toni, the twins Michael and Daniel and their sister Tina, we like authenticity. And we’re sure you do too! We love it when people put their heart into what they do. Together we make sure that our guests feel good, through and through.

We are especially looking forward to welcoming you in the morning at the breakfast buffet and will be happy to give some nice advice and help you with your daily planning with tips and information.
